So my earlier story about Ashlee and Pete having twins is completely wrong - I repeat: there are no Wentz twins en route at this time.

Wentz: Ashlee's pregnancy "news to me"

Mere hours after news of his fiancee's supposed pregnancy hit the wires, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz went on record to deny their impending parenthood.

In an email to MTV News yesterday, Pete said Ashlee's pregnancy was "news to me."

"There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," he said. "This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. I mean really, this is crazy. I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."

Lip-syncher Singer Ashlee Simpson and her boyfriend, Fall Out Boy bassist/singer Pete Wentz, confirmed today that they too are gettin' hitched.
