British rock outfit Coldplay - arguably one of the biggest bands in the world right now - has been slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit.
No doubt the Madonna/Guy Ritchie split will be one of the more scandalous celebrity divorces this year; every day there's a new story: Guy's nothing but a gold digging scoundrel who didn't support The Material Girl after her horseback riding accident, Madonna wants A-Rod's baby and sleeps in a plastic suit to prevent aging. Sure, no publicity is bad publicity, but let's be honest - juggling a very public divorce, three kids and a world tour has got to be tough.
There with an ear for listening and a shoulder to lean on is Gwyneth Paltrow, who is helping Madonna get through this trying split.

Chris Martin has a goal for his band Coldplay. Their fourth album will be released next week. Will he be looking to see the number of units they sell or their debut position on the charts? Not so much. He feels that their success should be measured by the number of songs they have featured in karaoke bars.

Last night I was thrilled to hear the band that I deemed to be on the verge of exploding, featured in a commercial that will make them the new sensation.
One of things I love most in this world is discovering new music. It is when someone with an inside connection gives a nod to what is coming soon. It's listening to an artist as the sound of their brand new songs trigger a chord in your heart and you fall head over heals in love. I felt lucky that the melodic and lush sounds of Parachutes were delivered to me this way.
