I prefer to get my unhealthy doses of celebrity gossip from the 'net, as opposed to on television. I usually tend to avoid entertainment-based shows, but the one show I'll drop everything to watch is The Soup. I LOVE The Soup. I loved it when it was Talk Soup with Aisha Tyler and I love it now, in all of it's re-vamped glory, with host Joel McHale. Joel makes me giggle like no other television show host has before.
The subject of Mickey Rourke's recently-passed and much loved chihuahua, Loki, came up on an episode recently and from the sounds of it, Joel had better sleep with one eye open, 'cause Mickey is pissed.
So what did Joel say about Loki that got Mickey so fired up?
"Many say it was a pretty gay friendly Oscars (and) we think it could have been even gay friendlier, here's how... a tribute to Mickey Rourke's chihuahua."
At last Thursday's Hollywood premiere of his new movie, The Informers, Mickey had a few choice words for the television host: "Who's the guy who made fun of my dog...? Motherf*cker! Who's that guy, Joel McHale? He's gonna get a slap in the face... That ain't right. If you see him, tell him he's gonna get a slap in the face."
Moral of the story here: Mickey Rourke is one bad-ass mo-fo who loves his pooch. Don't mess with his dearly departed dog.
