Two things:
(1) Billy Bob Thornton has reportedly cancelled the remainder of this Canadian Tour because the band has the flu (yah, right)
(2) And apparently Billy Bod does NOT have a problem referring to his Hollywood credentials to promote his band
That second item has left me confused.
Granted, it's not that hard to confuse me but remember how last week Billy Bob went freakshow on Jian Ghomeshi's ass while he was a guest on the Q because Jian had the balls to mention that Billy Bob is also the same Billy Bob who is a well known actor in his intro?
Yes, well it turns out that Billy Bob has a rider in his American contract that states that the band should be billed as "Billy Bob Thornton And Special Guests The Boxmasters"
Huh?
Wait. I'm confused.
Doesn't that sound like that he is banking on his famous name - as a Hollywood famous person - to promote the band?
Yet when a Canadian talk-show host refers to Billy Bob's acting and directing resume fodder in order to establish some context for listeners who may be wondering "is this the same Billy Bob Thornton as that durrrrrrrrr Slingblade dude slash "I'm gonna wear Angelina Jolie's blood in a vial around my neck" dude?", he turns into a spoiled brat and throws a lame gravy insult toward the Canadian folk.
Billy Bob, make up your mind on using your established fame and stop the prima donna shit. Acting like a brat doesn't work for my three year old and she's a hell of a lot cuter than you.
