According to People.com, Isaiah Washington allegedly owes backrent of $100,000 and may be evicted if he doesn't pay up in the next few days.
Isaiah and his wife Jenisa are said to be five months behind on the rent for their Venice Beach home, where the rent is $20,000 a month (woah, that's some rent.) Last week a notice was posted on their property stating they had three days to pay or get out.
Apparently Isaiah's rep and lawyers didn't return media calls; maybe Isaiah isn't paying those bills either. So the recession is hitting Lala land - no great surprise. I think Mr. Washington should start playing nice and try to get some work before he sent packing home to Texas.
