After a slew of rumours about the couple's marital status - were they engaged or weren't they? did they get married or didn't they? - People is reporting that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen tied the knot during a small, private ceremony yesterday in Santa Monica.
The couple, who have been dating since 2006, hadn't confirmed that they were engaged - in fact, just last month, Gisele shot down reports of their engagement. After getting over 100 emails asking if she was going to be the future Mrs. Brady, she told Brazilian magazine Caras Gi, "Someone deduced I was getting engaged...I don't know how people are so creative."
People reports that Tom popped the question last month.
The two were married at dusk at a church a stone's throw from the beach. Tom's son (with ex Bridget Moynahan), not yet two, was at the wedding; a reception was held at the couple's home in L.A.
Gisele - and her three dogs - were outfitted in Dolce and Gabbana, according to Us Weekly: a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.
