Hey, remember Lisa Loeb? No? Seriously, she is the cute nerdy girl who had a hit back in the day and revolutionized eyewear for ladies in the nineties. Come on now, you remember her and that song "Stay" that was on replay for freakin' ever during the course of 1994.
Still don't remember her? Well she had a reality show about being single called #1 Single and she went out on dates and stuff. Okay, true, everyone and their uncle has a reality show now (can everyone say low overhead?) but seriously, if I played her song and you saw the movie Singles, you'd know who I was talking about.
Anyhow, long story short: she got married this past weekend.
Yah for thirty-something singles everywhere! She didn't die in a plane crash AND she still got married! My mom told me if I didn't get married by the time I was thirty-five, I'd more likely die on board a plane than make it to the alter. IN YOUR FACE MOM*! BOOYAH.
* I have no idea of Lisa's mom told her the same thing but odds are, if she's anything like my mom, she did.
Yes, so Lisa married the music supervisor for Late Night with Conan O'Brien. His name is Roey Hershkovitz and he sounds like a really nice boy. The fact that he makes a living doing music, well that makes him just that more loveable to the InLaws. Congrats to the crazy couple. Mazel Tov!
