But people still wanna knock her down a peg it seems.
Britney's latest release from her Circus album (which is completely FAB!) is called "If You Seek Amy" and it's causing quite the hoopla.
If You Seek Amy? What could possibly be so bad about that?
Say it slowly. Concentrate.
Ya. That's it.
(It took me FOREVER to figure it out. Srsly. Lame.)
It seems completely harmless... ut when it's in context I can see why it may be a little ... wrong?
“All the
boys and the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy.”
or
"If you seek Amy we'll do whatever you like tonight."
Not so innocent Britney, you naughty girl.
So who cares, it's just a song title; there's been far worse, right?
Well, apparently some US radio stations have threatened to stop playing the single. To avoid this Brit's gone back to the studio to re-record the track, but rather than re-writing it they chose to just drop the 'k' making the song now sing "If you see Amy", which really doesn't make any sense at all (not that I got it the first time, but whatevs.)
Scandal or not, the track is sure to hit No. 1.
Haven't heard it yet? Here it is:

Um, Sam? I still don't get it. I've said it about eleventy billion times. In every possible combination. Now it's going to drive me crazy until you explain it.
