Q: Remember this quote?
"You can’t ignore divorce rates. Every friend of mine has parents who are divorced. I didn’t go into it with Max thinking, ‘This is going to last forever’. But I did go into it thinking, ‘I love him right now and I know that I will continue to love him for a long while’."
How long do you think Peaches was thinking when she used the words "long while"?
A: How about a little over three months?
Peaches, 19, daughter of legendary musician Sir Bob Geldof, met her 24-year old husband Max on MySpace - or so the story goes. They took off to Las Vegas to get married last August, a move that was said to have really upset Sir Bob (the mom in me is screaming NO FREAKIN' DOUBT!).
Rumour has it that Peaches, who has been living in Brooklyn, is heading home to British soil to start divorce proceedings after just 96 days of wedded bliss.
"She doesn’t fancy him any more, and wants to move on. To her it is as simple as that," a source told News of the World. "She just wants to divorce him and find a new boyfriend. Max is heartbroken. He has been through the mill in the last three months, but there is nothing he can do. He genuinely believed marriage was a long term commitment, but Peaches has shattered his dreams."
Awwwww, poor Max. But you know, when your wife goes on record and says she didn't marry you thinking it would last forever, you've got to be prepared for the inevitable.

96 days is about 95 more than I thought it would last... what's wrong with promise rings (omg, I'm such a mom).
