I Don't Care Who You Are, That's (Not) Funny.

OH Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. How on Earth are you going to present a speech of the utmost importance and grab the attention of the American public if you can't even make a bunch of knuckleheads laugh?

I don't know whose idea it was, but Palin opened the Saturday Night Live Presidential Election Eve Bash last night with a pithy attempt at being funny. But it just didn't fly.

She sounded condescending, bitchy and SERIOUS.

It's all in the delivery Sarah. The delivery is key.

Thankfully *if* she's elected into office pleasegodnopleasegodnopleasegodno there's really no need for attempts at humour are sarcasm. She'll do just fine.

(Accept for the fact that she has no business leaving Alaska ever. again.)

Oh my god I totally agree with you. I watched the entire thing, all the while shifting in my seat uncomfortably. She made me want to take a shower when she was done.

My vote's been cast. I've done all I can do. Let's hope the rest of the country follows suit.
