Apparently the Foo Fighters are real foodies, especially Dave Grohl.
Dave makes his own secret BBQ recipe called Dr. G's Strip Steak which he reportedly served at the party for the release of Echoes, Silence, Patience, & Grace. Now he is appearing on this season's Top Chef - as a guest judge.
Actually, the entire band will be appearing.
How cool is that? I've always wanted to be a judge on one of those crazy shows, and food judge is one of the more dignified ways to channel the inner Simon Cowell or Paula Abdul. Come on now, we all have a little judge bursting from within. Wait, are you more of a Dawg type?
Anyhow, Dave and the other Foos will be guest judges on an episode called "Foo Fighters' Thanksgiving" on November 26th. The contestants will try to impress the band during a tour stop in Rochester, New York. Sounds like to me that these guys like to eat well when on the road. Or risk food-poisoning. Either way, it should be an interesting show.
I bet Dave will be a total softy.
