Both of my children were a week late and those two weeks were, I swear, the longest two weeks OF MY LIFE. So I sympathize with Ashlee Simpson, who is still pregnant despite the fact that it was rumoured she'd gone in to labour this weekend.
During this weekend's MTV special that bid farewell to TRL, Pete called in to tell fans that Ashlee had not given birth. He joked that his fellow Fall Out Boy band mates and their fans would most likely hear about the baby's birth from the Internet and said that the couple, who are rumoured to be having a boy, have yet to decide on a name.
“I went to Chinatown, picked up a bootleg version of Twilight and watched it like, 72, times,” Pete said, when asked what he did this weekend.
I read somewhere that Ashlee was due on Hallowe'en, so the chances are pretty high she'll be having the baby sometime soon. Probably not soon enough for her, though.
