Janet's first North American tour in seven years, Rock Witchu, has gotten off to a bumpy start.
On account of a sudden, undisclosed illness that saw her hospitalized in Montreal early last week, Janet canceled her weekend concert in Greensboro, N.C. after a local doctor determined that she had not fully recovered.
Not only was last week's Montreal show canceled, mid-week shows in Philadelphia and Boston were also nixed.
Upcoming shows in Atlanta and Ft. Lauderdale have been canceled as well.
Organizers of the Greensboro show told fans to keep their tickets in the hopes that the show is rescheduled. There's been no word yet from Jackson's camp about rescheduling the dates, nor has a statement regarding her health been released, leading some to speculate that the singer's ailments may be pregnancy and/or vertigo-related (the latter sounding more plausible).
The mom in me says it's best for Janet to rest up now and make up for lost time later - something tells me her fans will forgive her.
