There is nothing quite like Toronto in September. As you stroll through Yorkville, you may find yourself occasionally picking up a whiff of the putrid smell of sewage. You can't help but notice that the traffic is backed up due to major construction. Still there is an excitement that encompasses the city as much of Hollywood arrives for the Toronto International Film Festival.

The crowds were in a frenzy trying to catch a glimpse of Brad Pitt at the Coen brothers' premiere of Burn After Reading on September 5th.

Thandie Newton walked the red carpet at the premiere of Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla on September 4th.

On September 5th, Renee Zellweger and Viggo Mortensen discussed Appaloosa at a press conference during the film festival.

Keira Knightley made her way through Pearson Airport. She was in town promoting The Duchess.

Kate Hudson had some fun at Sir Richard Branson's Unite Party.

Claire Danes and Zac Efron were at the premiere of Me and Orson Welles on September 5th.

On September 7th, Evangeline Lilly was out for The Wrestler premiere.

That same day Jennifer Aniston turned heads at the premiere of Management.

Jessica Biel arrived at the Easy Virtue film gala on September 8th.

Rachel Weisz was at The Brothers Bloom premiere on September 9th.

Yesterday Rachel McAdams and Tim Robbins were seen arriving for The Lucky Ones premiere.
With all these celebrities gracing us with their presence I can tell you that I know I've been in very close proximity with a few stars however I can't bring myself to hang out with the paparazzi. Like a good gossip columnist I gave them a sly smile and eavesdropped on a bit of their conversation. One forty something man-child, who probably still lives in his parents basement and is avid fan of Dungeons and Dragons, told the freelance taxi driver with the fancy camera how Benicio Del Toro is a really super nice guy. Scoop!
