George Takei - aka Sulu - was married this weekend to his long time partner Brad Altman. These two crazy kids have been together for twenty-one years - 21! - it's about time they made honest men of each other.
The ceremony was in LA at the Japanese American National Museum and they had over 200 friends and family to help them celebrate the nuptials. Check it out - that's totally Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) and Chekov (Walter Koenig) walking behind them. Nihcelle was the maid of honour and Walter was the best man.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that I was disappointed that there was no Borg or Vulcan or even a Klingon to be seen. I know I'm mixing my generations of Star Trek but come on, it's Star Trek and I'm no Trekkie.
The ceremony sounded beautiful: they had a Buddhist priest, exchanged Native
American wedding bands, all to the sounds of a Japanese Koto harp. Note that their procession was led by a bagpiper - now if that isn't multicultural, I don't know what is. Also the guests threw firecrackers at the end of the ceremony. That's the way to start a marriage - with a BANG!
Good luck to the newlyweds and congratulations.
