Does this look like a woman who, just a few days before Sunday night's Emmy broadcast, had emergency gallbladder surgery?
I didn't think so either, but it's true. Charlie Sheen's new(est) bride, Brooke Mueller, wound up in the operating room after the abdominal pains she'd been experiencing for about a month got unbearable.
Brooke, who is three months pregnant with the couple's first child together, was scared the pain was somehow related to the baby. The couple's publicist stressed in a statement that the surgery had absolutely nothing to do with her pregnancy.
Brooke spent five days recovering at Cedars-Siani Medical Centre and was discharged late last week. Looking at the picture of her and Charlie at the Emmy's, you'd never know that just days earlier, she'd had emergency surgery. Girlfriend is a trooper!
