There is controversy behind the scenes at the new 90210 and amazingly it doesn't involve Shannon Dorherty.
As you can see, the newest stars of 90210 appear very underweight. Good lord, look at the ribs on Grimes - they look like chicken bones about the snap.
Word is, both Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes were skinny when they started on 90210 but have lost more weight since filming began. Stroup is 5'8" but only weighs about 100 pounds and Grimes is 5'3" and 90 pounds.
One hundred pounds at 5'8"! That is terrifying - she looks like she would slip down the drain in the shower. It makes me shudder. Obviously the pressure to be thin is still rampant in Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Why is it all talk and no action? Why can't celebrities look normal and still be loved. It's a sad statement all around.
Anyhow, apparently the situation is having such an impact on their co-stars that the male members of the cast want to do an intervention. Step too it boys, well done if you do it - and they listen.
Perhaps the 90210 food wagon needs to stock up on Ben&Jerrys, éclairs, and cinnamon buns, lord knows they have kept me pleasantly thermal for years now.

She's so skinny, it's distracting. Considering that the camera puts ON ten pounds, it's downright disgusting.
