Hey ladies - Michael Bolton is back on the market.
Nicollette and Michael originally announced their engagement in March 2006 but apparently they really couldn't Go The Distance. You know, When A Man Loves A Woman, Love Is A Wonderful Thing but these two obviously asked How Can We Be Lovers? Then they probably cried a bit and said How Am I Supposed To Live Without You?
Oh Michael, you know you Ain't Got Nothing If You Ain't Got Love - what happened dude?
Anyhow, Nicollettes's rep released a statement "Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement, they appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter." How her rep made a statement without quoting at least one of Bolton's lyrics is beyond me, his music was made for breakups and failed romances.
This has been a long drawn out romance for these two, they have been off and on since 1993 - but they obviously discovered they weren't meant to be forever - perhaps Michael asked Nicollette Can I Touch You...There - and she finally kicked Mr. Bolton and his skullett* to the curb.
* thank you mamatulip for that terminology - the word made me snort beer out of my nose, painfully worth it.
