binkywood: Nicole Richie versus Mary-Kate Olsen?

My lord, can you imagine a catfight between Nicole and Mary-Kate - it would be a lightweight match with lots of hair pulling. Who do you think might win? My money would be on Nicole, she looks scrappy.

Anyhow, we might actually get a chance to find out the results of that particular bout. Nicole has been warning her baby-daddy-slash-fiancé, Joel Madden that he must stay away from Mary-Kate who has reportedly making friendly with him. You know, being really nice to him all and batting eyelashes and stuff.

Now that really sucks to have a 22 year old gazillionaire heiress making big ol' puppy dog googly eyes at your husband-to-be while at a dinner party which you are also attending - you know, like at the same time - nothing like being rendered invisible OR feeling threatened.

One may argue that if the fiancee trusts the fiance, this behaviour wouldn't be an issue, and I believe that is true in some cases. Maybe this type of mistrust is signs that it's time to rethink this "forever until death do us part" stuff is more than just stuff. Yes, I agree BUT still, I know it would tick me off - A LOT, like a huge huge lot of HUGE being ticked-offishness.

So get this - after the dinner party where Nicole had to witness the grungy Olsen getting all flirty with Joel (see photos of party below), Mary-Kate went to see Good Charlotte in New York. She then proceeded to hang out with Joel and went back to his tour bus to look at pictures of his baby Harlow.

Well, word has it that this made Nicole's head blow up even though Joel told her about it right away, just so she wouldn't think anything was up.

Anyhow, she reportedly wasn't pleased even though he was honest and you know what? I don't really blame her. Shit, if I had some gazillionaire blonde nymph laying it on thick with my fiance while I was home with the baby, I'd be pissy - especially considering it is a woman who half the male universe could probably report the exact day that those Olsen girls were no longer considered jail bait . I'm just saying.

Check out some of the picks from the party. They look like pretty normal party pics to me, except with all really rich people who dress like they're poor to be you know, ironic and all. No evidence of Olsen-centric flirtation going on but that don't mean it didn't happen y'all.
