Well I didn't actually see this one coming but I guess it's no huge surprise: Mary-Kate is apparently refusing to speak with federal investigators who are looking into Heath Ledger's death.
Before she will talk to the man, she is rumoured to be demanding immunity against anything incriminating - you know, in case they get her to slip up. Because if she's hiding something bad you just know they would totally get her to spill it, because they are highly trained professionals, and she's an Olsen twin. If they were investigating how to become millionaires before the age of two, then she would have the upper hand, but I'm willing to bet this here package of salami, she would slip up if they interviewed her.
Anyhow, these investigators probing into Heath's tragic overdose are trying to figure out where/how he obtained the not-prescribed OxyContin that was found in his bloodstream mixed with his prescription medications. Hey - I just said probing without giggling - that's a first.
According to her lawyer Michael Miller, Mary-Kate is demanding her constitutional right to immunity. Oh and she is apparently the last person investigators need to speak with to finish up the case. Everyone else involved has been interviewed, and didn't lawyer up. Not cooperating never makes investigators happy so I hope she knows what she is doing.
Just to jog the ol' memory bank - Mary-Kate was the first person Heath's housekeeper called when the masseuse found his body. Not 911, not family, but Mary-Kate Olsen. Is that what we are supposed to do when this sort of thing happens - call an Olsen Twin? You must admit that is a curious fact about that tragic event, but I wouldn't be surprised to discover the housekeeper just hit her number on Heath's speed dial.
So what do you think? Is that Mary-Kate Olsen just being wary of her rights or do you think she's hiding something?
