Looks like Avri Lavigne's scheduled August 29th show in Malaysia, which was canceled last week on account of her being too sexy, is going on as planned.
Avril's peeps have said they'll make sure her show will follow the country's strict performance rules, which include no jumping, shouting, kissing or hugging on stage. They've also promised the Malaysian government that the concert won't overshadow the country's independence day celebrations on the 31st, either.
Even so, the concert will be monitored by the Arts and Cultural Ministry, just in case things get a bit too sexy.
Of the whole fiasco, Avril told MTV, "They tend to, you know, sometimes not want Western artists in their country. I respect that, but at the same time, you know, there's people that listen to music there and want to see their idols and stuff, so it's all good: been approved by the government and [I'm] going to go put on a show and have fun."
