Who DOESN'T know who Michael Phelps is?
Jennifer Lopez, that's who.
Jenny From The Block (don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got, yo) was on Good Morning America on Monday to talk about herself how she's training for the Malibu Triathlon. After the taping, she was overheard bitching that Olympic sensation Michael Phelps has taken away her spotlight.
Apparently, Jennifer thinks that her story: multi-million dollar singer has twins, runs marathon six months later is more deserving than Michael's: not only is the 23-year-old a 14-time Olympic gold medalist, he's won the most Olympic golds EVER during the current games in China.
According to a Good Morning America "source", Jennifer "couldn't understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer. She couldn’t come up with Phelps' name, and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that was the big story right now, not 'the swimmer.'"
Give me a break - I'm willing to bet that moms birth children and go on to run marathons FAR MORE OFTEN than a 24-year old swimmer makes history by winning the most gold medals in a single Olympic games and breaking SEVEN WORLD RECORDS.
But wait! Underneath that bitchy facade is a good person! Jennifer's donating what's raised for her marathon to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and has done us all a favour by starting a blog to share tips on training.
Well, there's one blog I WON'T be reading - in case you haven't noticed, I can't stand Jennifer Lopez. Rumour or not, I can totally see her getting her five-hundred dollar britches in a knot because people aren't paying enough attention to her; girlfriend needs to relax and let this incredible young athlete have his fifteen minutes of fame.
