
When you hear the name Miley Cyrus, what comes to mind?
Cell phone hackers? Your daddy's mullet is breakin' my achey breaky heart? Good girl gone wild?
How about condoms?
Condom company LifeStyles have offered the self-proclaimed virgin, who's recently been the focus of many a teen scandal, a million bucks to represent their wares - an offer that Miley's camp says never happened.
According to Carol Carrozza, vice-president of marketing for LifeStyles, teenagers are "more ready than ever to discuss the subject of sex." When choosing a familiar face to reach their target demographic, Miley, she says, is the "obvious choice."
"We believe that Miley is both influential and relatable to this afflicted set — and is the obvious choice to get the message of safe sex out to teens across America," Carol said.
Miley's rep, however, told E! News that no such offer was received, "nor would she consider the offer."
Miley has said in the past that she won't be havin' any pre-marital nookie, yet recent incidents have had folks and fans alike questioning that statement. I'd like to think that her peeps - especially her parents - would nix the offer of turning her in to the next poster child for domes, but these days, especially given all the recent was the Vanity Fair shoot part of the finely-tuned marketing machine that is Miley Cyrus? hype, you just never know.
