It's a television update: Three shows. Covered in one post. Pay attention!
William Petersen, Jessica King and Jason Priestley are all gone. GONE!
First:

William Petersen, who plays the eccentric Gil Grissom on CSI: Las Vegas will be leaving the show. Petersen signed a deal last May to continue, but apparently there was some clause in the contract and he will no longer be Gil Grissom after the 10th episode of the new season.
By the sounds of it, he's leaving on his own accord and will retain the role, but only as a special guest star or something like that.
I'm on the fence, I couldn't really care less. Him and Sara drive me a little batty.
Second:

Jessica King, of So You Think You Can Dance: Season 4, has sustained an injury and is out of the competition as per her doctors orders. Nigel Lithgoe will apparently explain it all on this week's show.
So that means Comfort is back in the Top 10.
I think she'll still be gone this week anyway.
Lastly:

Jason Priestley will not be joining Jenny Garth and Tori Spelling back at the Peach Pit.
Jason has decided not to reprise his role as Brandon Walsh on the new 90210 set to air this fall.
“I think I sort of ran the gamut with Brandon — 249 episodes...I think Brandon did his time.”
Though he may return behind the camera and direct a couple episodes.
BORING!
You know, I have NO desire to see this new version of 90210. I'm still hooked in the re-runs that were airing in the fall. That was quality television.
