From Star magazine, a publication not widely known for its accuracy, comes the sensational story that Matthew Broderick (husband of Sarah Jessica Parker) had an affair earlier this year with a 25-year old youth counselor, whom he picked up in a bar.

The young redhead's friend has spilled the beans, alleging the two shared a slew of text messages after meeting in a bar. Things got hot and heavy after meeting at the Manhattan apartment of a "showbiz friend", or so the story goes.
Apparently, the woman's conscience got the best of her, and she tried to end the relationship with Matthew - who she'd nicknamed "Matty Cakes" - unsuccessfully. While Sarah Jessica was in LA filming the Sex and the City movie, "multiple eyewitnesses" claim to have seen Matthew visiting the redhead's apartment late at night.
During one tryst, they arrived at her friend's apartment after a night of heavy drinking, says a source. She dragged Matthew into the friend's bedroom, then shut the door. "A half hour later, Matthew opened the bedroom door, mumbled 'Well... 'bye!' and walked out. The friend found her passed out on the bed in her panties."
I don't buy this for a second - I'll believe this story when it's picked up by a more reliable publication, with actual reps making actual statements. What do you think? A ploy to sell more issues, or a true story?
