Dita Von Teese is pretty famous. Not only is she widely recognized in the fashion industry, she's a world-renowned burlesque performer whose risque act incorporates, among other things, I'm sure, the use of a giant martini glass and an oversize olive. Oh, and she's also the ex-wife of rocker Marilyn Manson. Given that, it's safe to say that a good amount of people have heard of her, right?
Perhaps, though, she's not so popular across the pond. Prince Charles, who recently met Dita at the Cartier International Polo Tournament in London, wasn't aware of who she was or what she did for a living, but he certainly is now.

Upon meeting the burlesque beauty, The Prince of Wales asked after her job, to which Dita replied, "I'm a dancer."
Now, when someone tells you they're a dancer, what genre of dancing comes to mind? Yeah, me too. However, that's not the case for Charles, who, upon learning of Dita's line of work, invited her to perform at Prince Harry's 24th birthday party without missing a beat.
"She was stunned when he suggested the idea, explaining that his son loved a good dance," quotes the UK's Daily Star. "But he gnawed his fist to within an inch of its knuckle when his aides explained what sort of dancing she did for a living."
I would have given my eye teeth to be a fly on the wall when the freakin' PRINCE OF WALES told none other than DITA VON TEESE that his son "loved a good dance."
No word of whether Charles, who reportedly was clueless about Dita's "raunchy stage act", is actually going to follow through with his request and book Dita for Harry's September birthday.

I'm sure Prince Harry would have been honored.

Oh I bet Charles loves a good dance from Camilla. Those royals are always a bit risque behind gold doors.
