Michelle Williams would really like her two year old daughter Matilda to know her dad. That is why she hopes to make a film about Heath Ledger.
Even though the couple had previously split, Michelle was devastated when her former fiancé was found dead after an accidental drug overdose in January. She wants Heath’s close friends and co-stars to share their stories on him so Matilda can discover her father through their eyes.
A source said: "This is incredibly important for Michelle to do. It makes Michelle's heart ache that Matilda was so young when Heath died and she's unlikely to retain any memories of her father. She wants to keep his spirit alive with something Matilda can treasure all her life."

In her first public statement in February after Heath's tragic death, Michelle said, "I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day."

What a great idea! And yes, that little girl is definitely the spitting image of Heath.

I love her for doing this. Though Matilda will have Heath's actual movies they're characters - not her Daddy.
I am still not over his passing, just such a tragic loss.
