Diddy n' Diaz?

Hollywood's latest odd couple? Cameron Diaz and P. Diddy.

The two were spotted together at Prince's book launch on Friday and were reportedly inseparable all evening, with Cameron going so far as to spoon feed the rap mogul her bread pudding.

(An aside - what the hell is bread pudding? Seriously...)

The two apparently took advantage of Prince's Beverly Hills mansion and stole off to be alone; they were heard giggling from behind a locked door, according to Digital Spy.

"Diddy was bringing his lips towards hers when he realized someone was approaching," the web site reported. "Smiling, they closed the theatre's door and locked it."

But this is Hollywood, remember? You can't believe anything everything you hear. Though a few gossip sites are reporting Cameron and Diddy have indeed hooked up, others have said it's all part of Ashton Kutcher's newest reality show, Pop Fiction, where he pranks the paparazzi.

I'm inclined to believe the latter - this pairing smacks of Kutcher.
