Sir Paul's been in the news a lot lately, not just because of his music, but because of his divorce from that gold digging bitch, Heather Mills. Paul's been spotted quite a bit with Nancy Shevell, his Hamptons neighbour, something I hope makes Heather turn green with envy. Paul deserves to be happy, and I'm not just saying that because The Beatles are my favourite band in the whole entire world and I have a huge bias when it comes to any of the Fab Four.
It's nice to finally see a headline that doesn't have anything to do with their split and the fact that all the money in the world isn't good enough for the former Mrs. McCartney.
On Monday, in front of 1,000 cheering students, Paul was given an honourary Doctor of Music degree from Yale University.
During the presentation, the university said no one compares with the legendary songwriter (ya got that right, Yale) and commended him for awakening a generation and giving a fresh sound to rock, roll, rhythm and blues.
Look at him...sixty-five years old and still totally cute. Congratulations, Paul!
