After 14 years of marriage, Canadian singing sensation Shania Twain and her husband, producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, have called it quits.
Shania told People magazine back in '02 that she and Mutt were "very different", saying their relationship had always been based on "friendship and compatibility."
Although they had its share of bumps along the way, Shania reportedly didn't see the split coming and is "devastated" by it.
"She's getting through it with a very close-knit group of family and friends," a source told People.
Speaking exclusively to the magazine, Mutt called their breakup "unfortunate".
"It's just an unfortunate thing that's happened. It's literally just a growing apart, that's all," he said.
Shania and Mutt have a six-year old son, Eja.
