Don't believe the hype - although it was widely reported this weekend that Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson got engaged over the weekend, E! Online's Mark Malkin claims to have the scoop on the real story.
Kate was spotted wearing a gigantic rock on her engagement finger, which is more than enough to get those gossip tongues wagging. Malkin revealed yesterday in a video blog that the actress was wearing the ring while filming her latest movie, Bride Wars.
Reps for both Owen and Kate have backed up the story, saying the rumours are not true and that Kate is "definitely not engaged."
