OK, so she isn't really joining the cast of The Golden Girls remake. I don't even know if there is going to be a GG remake and to be completely honestly, I had no idea who Heidi really was before seeing this picture.
This photo forced me to google her name and discover her raison d'être. Now I wish I had no idea who this Heidi Montag was or does or whatever you call apparent wastes of space.
While it is true that I did catch The Hills once, it was when the remote was lost and I was eating nachos and unable to turn the channel without breaking up the perfect Feng Shui Zeness of my nacho, salsa, and beverage balance. Such things shouldn't be messed with - even at the expense of watching something that may have accelerated brain damage.
Anyhow a few weeks ago, I first heard of Heidi and her flop of a fashion line called Heidiwood. Seriously? She named her fashion line Heidiwood? Anyhow, in my recent research I was no where near as shocked about the modest name as I was when I learned this young lady went to an actual fashion school AND it was not one found in the back of a Betty and Veronica double digest. Perhaps she dropped out too soon because reviews garnered such sound bites like “monstrosity” and “panty-line-molesting dresses”.
Where am I going with this? No where in particular except to say when I first saw this photo I thought it looked familiar. After staring for a while I figured it out: my great aunt Bunny who lives in Miami wore the exact same outfit - albeit a size 22 - to my cousin Randell's third wedding. You remember Randell, he finally found true love with that nice girl he met at the church - nothing like those first two hussies that wasted the best years of his life. Oh Randell.
