Barbara Walters had sex

I have no idea why I'm kinda fascinated with Barbara Walters love life, past or present.  It's not like I want to see the sex tapes or anything (note: NO SEX TAPES - DO NOT SUE ME)

Barbara admits that back in the day when she was living it large in DC she also was getting some forbidden love.  She was riding a hot career, she was single, and "... it was exciting times in Washington" (her words, not mine).  Exciting eh?  So I guess that's what the kids were calling it back then.

Last week she told Oprah that she played the role of the dreaded "other woman" and was having an affair U.S. Senator Edward Brooke.  Duuuuude - not cool. 

Anyhow, Barbara said they broke it off because it was such a risk to his political career.  How considerate of her.  What would have been more considerate? Not having an affair with a married man for starters, but I'm weird like that.

So I wonder why she would spill after all these years?  Oh. Right.  She has a book coming out.

As they say in LaLa land - there is no such thing as bad publicity.  Way to go Barbara, copping to homewrecker makes you more... human?  Nope, that's not it... annoying?  Yes that's it.

Anyhow, I gotta wonder what Elizabeth Hasselbeck has to say about this.  Oh why do I even care about these things?
