Fashion plate Mary-Kate Olsen stepped out in quite an, uh...interesting getup last night at the New Yorkers for Children gala.
I think the only thing I like about her outfit is the purse, though I kind of wish it were a different colour. The dress - er, gown - is a bit too puffy and layered for my taste, not to mention way too long. Like, where are her feet? I'm dying to know what kind of shoes she was sporting underneath that thing gown.
And then there's the headband. The puffy black velvet headband. WTF? When I saw this picture the first thing that came to mind was a little phrase my husband likes to throw out at me first thing in the morning: "Nice lid, babe."
What do you think about her ensemble? Yay or nay?

The only thing worse than that outfit is what it would look like on me.

I thought it was Carrie Fisher when I first saw it - seriously, I did. Olsen is too freakin' young to be channelling Carrie Fisher - does this girl have a stylist? If so, she needs to get a new one fer shure.
