Kate Moss is getting married for sure - or at least that's what the rumour mills are saying.
Kate, pictured enjoying a recent mother daughter day out in Disneyland, has been dating The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince since her life & career saving break-up with prophetically-named Baby Shambles frontman Pete Doherty.
I could make some wise-crack about how this Jamie guy appears to be cleaner and more sober than the ex, Mr. "never bathes or changes clothing" Doherty but I quickly realized it really didn't take much to look more clean and sober than Pete.
Seriously, I could randomly pluck any of the Baldwins out of holding or find Leif Garrett doing some dumpster diving and Pete would still get the short end of the stick.
Anyhow, the buzz says that Kate's make or break deal for marriage involved Jamie agreeing that they would have children. I think that's pretty cool and apparently so does her family. For partners to agree on such a serious commitment - both marriage and family - means they've reflected on the long haul (and when I say HAUL - I mean "OMG, I will be hauling someone else's butt for the rest of my life - are you still in? Wait, don't run" kind of haul).
If this engagement actually did happen in Paris last month as the gossip folks say it did, I wish them the best.
No really, I do. I've got a weak spot for Kate - must be that name thing.
