Lip-syncher Singer Ashlee Simpson and her boyfriend, Fall Out Boy bassist/singer Pete Wentz, confirmed today that they too are gettin' hitched.

Speculation has swirled around the couple since February, when Ashlee was spotted with a diamond ring on her left hand.

At the time, Simpson said the ring was of the promise variety and told People magazine that "It just means he hasn't asked my dad yet."

Papa Simpson apparently approves of their engagement, telling People that he's, "Totally happy and excited to have Pete as part of our family."

Here's hoping these guys don't follow in big sister Jessica's footsteps and start a reality show about their lives as newlyweds.
